Saturday June 11, 1pm until 5pm, is Fun Day at Margate Lawn Tennis Club. The day is open to everyone and will provide the opportunity for those interested in taking up tennis to come along and try it out. As well as free coaching for beginners there’s a host of fun activities and games for all the family.
You can watch exhibition matches, even play, and also take part in a variety of games designed around tennis skills. There’s Cardio Tennis too, a keep fit activity built around tennis and designed as an entry into tennis for those keen to do so.
The fun afternoon also includes Skittle Tennis, Bucket Tennis, The Wall and a bouncy castle for the kids. As well as a BBQ and free teas and coffees, the fully licensed bar will be open.
Everyone is welcome to join in the fun, with prizes for activities and a free to enter raffle with a free membership up for grabs. For those interested in taking up tennis and joining the Club, a specially discounted membership is available on the day for all classes of membership.
