Lewis Burton & Marcus Willis win their first futures doubles title

Kents number 1 Lewis Burton & partner Marcus Willis sponsored by A1 Pharmaceuticals tennis academy won their first futures doubles title as their new partership showed early promise. They defeated Richard Bloomfield & GB number 4 Dan Cox emphatically 6-1 6-1 in the final of the F18 Great Britain Futures event in Sheffield.

Their first futures doubles win will boost their morale prior to the F19 Great Britain Roehampton futures this week followed by a series of 3 future events in Kuwait, so good luck to them.

Marcus & Lewis have now 3 doubles titles, they are closing in on Kents most accomplished doubles player Sean Thornley who has won 4 with regular partner GB number 10 David Rice.

Marcus Willis & Lewis Burton often train at the Bromley Tennis Academy with Nick Cavaday and will represent A1 Pharmaceuticals at the National Indoors Finals on 26-31 March 2014 in Sunderland.
