The Tennis Leicestershire Annual Awards Evening will be held on Thursday 9th February 2012 at The Leicester Tigers, Welford Road in Leicester.
We are very pleased to have as our guest speaker ANDREW CASTLE, the former British number one Men’s player and Television Presenter.
A key part of the evening is the presentation of awards to the winners of leagues and individual awards. We are now inviting you to nominate worthy candidates from your own club or within the wider local tennis community.
Nominations are invited for the following categories:
- Junior Boy
- Junior Girl
- Senior Player (over 18)
- Veteran Player (over 40)
- Team
- Volunteer
- Coach
- Disability (for those who play or are involved in disability tennis)
- Lifetime Achievement
The Awards Panel need detailed information about the nominee; they are particularly interested in their achievements and what they have contributed to tennis because the Panel have no personal knowledge of the nominee.
Nominations can be submitted on-line by using surveymonkey.
Alternatively you can complete a Nomination form and return to the County Office address in an envelope marked “Awards”. These forms can also be downloaded from here. The deadline for submitting Nominations is 20th January 2012.
