After Andy Murrays' heroics on Centre court against Novak Djokovic last Sunday the club has been inundated with enquiries regarding membership and coaching.
Paul Kennedy, one of the clubs' coaches said "We normally get a surge of interest with the Wimbledon effect at this time of year, but the magnitude of Murrays victory, after 77 barren years for British tennis means we are fielding an incredible amount of interest in the game.
So to cater for the demand the club is holding an impromptu open day where both children and adults can come and have a hit, meet the team and see what the club can offer, it's also a good time to have a look at the plans for the new development which is underway with a completion date of March 2014.
