On Thursday 13th February South Northamptonshire Council and Everyone Active , in partnership with Northamptonshire Sport will bring you the annual Club Development Roadshow for club members, coaches and volunteers to access valuable workshops and information that could enhance your club.
The evening is free to attend and clubs can choose to attend a range of workshops that include Funding Advice, Disability 'Sport is for All' , Multiskills and Engaging Volunteers.
The evening will commence at 6pm at Daventry Leisure Centre where clubs can enjoy a bite to eat and workshops will begin following an opening from the Sports Development Officers. There will be an opportunity to chat to experts from the Sports Development field about further support that is on offer to enable a club to grow.
That's not all, there will be a chance for every club that attends to win £200 worth of equipment vouchers to spend on whatever you wish so it's worth ensuring that your club is represented and doesn't miss out.
Will Heckford , Community Sports Engagement Manager at Everyone Active says " We have been running the Club roadshows for over 10 years and every year we listen to our clubs and try to support in the areas where club need it most . This year we're focusing on Funding , Volunteering, Coaching disabled people and Multiskills which is a new topic aimed at altering our approach to coaching children ".
