Suffolk’s 16 Under Junior County Teams travelled to Corby on December 9th for the 12 Counties Championhips. Teams :-

Suffolk Juniors Max Darrington + Ben Jones recently competed in the Schools’ National Finals, Max Darrington picking up a national title as Millfield emerged as champions after a close final. This achievement bodes well for our county teams in the future.
The Ipswich Sports Club are staging their Grade 4 Winter Indoor Veterans’ Tournament at Henley Road from Thursday 27th to Friday 30th December, with entries due to close on Friday 14th December. The Suffolk LTA held its annual Christmas Dinner on Monday December 3rd, Council Members and friends celebrating another successful year at the Rushmere Golf Club. There has been the usual busy programme, the highlights being the Awards Evening, the help given to smaller clubs through Cluster Meetings, and the success of Suffolk Men in both the Summer and Winter County Cups.
