The 23rd annual Suffolk Veterans’ Closed Indoor Championships were successfully staged at the Ipswich Sports Club over the weekend of November 2nd-4th inclusive. A high standard of play was enjoyed by the 64 competitors, especially in the 35.0 Men’s Singles won in determined fashion by former Suffolk Men’s County Captain James Yates.
Felixstowe’s Charles Fulcher captured both the 45.0 Men’s Singles and Doubles titles, with Peter Brown and Keith Palmer also achieving an impressive double in the 60.0 and 65.0 events respectively, Keith Palmer recording this feat for the 2nd year running.

Harper Mills, Eddie Johns, Jasper Chase and Max Birtwhistle played for Suffolk Boys’ 10 and Under team in the 12 Counties Championship at Corby, both Travis Ireland + Haadi Shah unavailable. RESULTS:-
