The bulk sign-up process is designed to give clubs a quick and easy way to join members to BTM.
It's a great tool, but the accuracy of the information supplied and the format it's submitted in is key to ensure that we have 'clean' data and that the spreadsheets are ready to load when they come into the Hub.
We've recently discovered that there have been some problems with bulk sign-ups being submitted with invalid or incomplete postcodes. The knock-on effect of this is that their welcome packs don't get delivered because TeamCard, our fulfillment partner, won't send packs to incorrect or invalid postcodes.
As a result, we've updated the bulk sign-up process to include a postcode validation column. We hope that this measure will mean we have more accurate information in Siebel. In addition you will now need to enter a email address as well.
