Riverside Tennis Club in Salisbury threw open its doors on Saturday and invited the local community to ‘Come on down and Play for FREE’.
It resulted in nearly 70 visitors taking up the opportunity to have a go on the courts where club coaches Mihaly Bukur & Carolyn Barry organised mini-tennis, coaching and games helped by the club’s enthusiastic teenage tennis leaders.
Head Coach, Mihaly Bukur said “We are really delighted with the turnout and look forward to welcoming many back to enjoy our club mix-ins, coaching programme and competitions! The club is pleased with its community links and continues to go from strength to strength with links into local primary schools providing them with free coaching and the wheelchair programme also gathering momentum”
