Nominations are now open and the Awards organiser, Get Berkshire Active is encouraging people to get online and get nominating. The Berkshire Inspiration & Participation Awards were launched by Zac Purchase, the Olympic rowing gold and silver medallist in November at Bisham Abbey and will be presented at an evening dinner on Friday 8th February 2013 at the Royal Berkshire Conference Centre in the Madejski Stadium Complex, Reading. We have launched the Inspiration & Participation Awards to celebrate those taking part in sport as well as the volunteers who run clubs and support others in their sporting endeavours. The event in February promises to be a gala evening and we hope the Awards will attract a large number of nominations.”
