Event: Learning disability development camp
Venue: Delta Tennis Centre, Delta Business Park, Welton Road, Swindon, SN5 7XF
Date: 23rd/24th February
Times: 11am – 5pm on Saturday and 10am – 4pm on Sunday
· The camp is aimed at players of all ages who are looking to improve
· Ideal for beginners, players who are starting to compete or those already entering LD tennis tournaments
· Camp Costs:
o Option 1 - £70 – SINGLE ROOM accommodation for the Saturday night.
o Option 2 - £40 (per person) - TWIN ROOM accommodations for the Saturday night.
o Option 3 - £20 – No accommodation
· All tennis equipment is provided
· Times are 11am – 5pm on Saturday and 10am – 4pm on Sunday
· Accommodation is provided at reasonable cost for those that need it
· Coaching by experienced LTA licensed coaches at a highly subsidised cost
· National squad coach present at every camp
· An opportunity for talented players to be ‘spotted’ and given guidance on the pathway to success
· Players leave the camp with information on local LD tennis groups, suitable tournaments to enter, as well as the new skills and knowledge they will have gained
· Every camp is preceded by a LD tennis coaching course on the Friday, which is open to Level 3 tennis coaches and runs from 9am to 5pm at the same venue

· Level 3 coaches who would like to apply for a place on the LD tennis coaching course should log in to the coaches secure area on the LTA website and look for the appropriate course
