High Wycombe LTC have just laid 3 new artificial clay courts and are inviting both the public and local tennis clubs to come and play on them on 23rd June.
During the morning there will be free coaching for local youngsters of all ages.
At 3pm the courts will be officially opened by Chris Hearn followed by an exhibition match from Chris.
Chris was a club member and their club coach for many years and this year he won the World Mixed Championships in San Diego, USA.
At 3.30pm they open the courts, free of charge, for the pubic and local tennis clubs.
All the court activities will be controlled by Guy Britton.
At 5pm, for a small fee, a BBQ will be available.
Because this type of clay court is new to South Bucks, it has stimulated a great deal of interest from other local tennis clubs.
They are therefore expecting a few representatives from other tennis clubs to attend the opening of these courts.
1st-Surface, the company that laid the courts, will be sending a director of the company to answer any questions that may be raised by other clubs.
