Awards given out on the run up to this years Winter Leagues.

A charity donation from a North East property company’s Foundation will enable a talented visually impaired tennis team to reach their goals of competing in a national tennis championship for blind and visually impaired people.

Lois Page qualified through her County finals to play at SW19 in the National Road to Wimbledon finals, and sent in this report.

Both visually impaired and totally blind people had the opportunity last weekend to try Blind Tennis out, and play in competition at Sunderland Tennis Centre run by the North East Visually Impaired Tennis Club.
