The Sevenoaks Schools U8 Tennis event was held at the Sennocke Centre on Saturday 26 January.
70 children took part representing the following schools - Sevenoaks Primary, Amherst Primary,Lady Boswell's Primary, Otford Primary, Ightham Primary, Chevening Primary, The New Beacon, Granville, Walthamstow Hall, Hilden Grange, and Russell House.
The competition was fierce, but eventually The New Beacon team of Alex Shin and Ivan Solomakhin won in a final of the highest quality against Hugo Coquelin and Tanner de Villiers representing Amherst.
The Girls final was very close - won by Alice Reeves and Felicity Grice (Russell House) against Telia Green and Emma Hughes (Granville).
Helene Jackson who organised the tournament thanked all the parents who helped umpire the courts and Sevenoaks School for providing the courts for this event.
