Shooters Hill LTC LTD had its yearly presentation dinner and dance on the 12th January 2013 and were very honoured to have Sir Keith Ajegbo as the guest of honour. Sir Keith is an over 65 team player for Kent as well as a member of the Wimbledon All England Lawn Tennis club.
Members enjoyed his speech which included his experiences playing at Wimbledon and some of the people he has met and played with.
He presented both adult and junior trophies as well as the Jack Petchey awards and the coveted leader’s award which this year was won by Luke House the assistant coach and men’s 1 captain. It was well deserved for all he does for the club which he has been a member of since he started tennis some 15 years ago. He is a wonderful role model for all our juniors and shows what can be achieved through hard work.
