Powder Byrne Junior and Open Tennis Trophy

Thursday 12th July 2012 is the closing date for 10&U, 12&U, 14&U, 16&U, 18&U, Men’s and Women’s Singles, Men’s 45 and Over Singles, and Family Doubles events in the Powder Byrne Junior and Open Tennis Trophy.

AEGON 12U Girls County Cup

Lincolnshire's 12U girls County Cup Team played at Nottingham Tennis Centre over the weekend of 30 June and 1 July in Group A against Nottinghamshire, Northamptonshire, Leicestershire and Warwickshire.

Representing Lincolnshire were Victoria Beardsley, Rose Thomas, Charlotte Priestley and Isabelle Hunt.

AEGON 12U Boys County Cup

Jason Revill, Team Manager, Joe Patton, Lewis Picker, Blake Kenneally-Forester, Jake Holt and Otto Jawahir played at Nottingham Tennis Centre tin the Regional Qualifying round of the Boys 12U County Cup over June 30th and July 1st.

New Competition Search Tool

Competition search is the way players and parents can find, enter and pay for a competition online. It’s one of the most used areas of the LTA website, with over 2 million visits a year; however it was introduced over 5 years ago and is due for an upgrade.

The new competition search tool will go live around the start of August and we wanted to let you know how the improvements will help you to find and enter competitions.

Horncastle wins National Mini Tennis Week Prize

As part of the LTA’s drive to get clubs from across the country involved in National Mini Tennis Week clubs were invited to send in their pictures, videos and a description of their event.

Horncastle Tennis Club has been chosen as one of the five winners from across the country and will receive a pair of tickets to the ATP World Tour Finals at the O2, London in November and £100 voucher towards LTA Mini Tennis equipment.

Victory for 9 and Under County Cup Team

Huge congratulations to Lincolnshire for winning their group for the first time ever in this year's 9 & Under County Cup.

On a glorious sunny day at Boston Tennis Club, the team of Matt Gedney, Jacob Ainsworth, William Barker, Oliver Brine, Lucy Evans, Paris Royal, Maddison Cook and Millie Alexander put in an outstanding performance and deserved to be overall winners.
