Wiveliscombe - teams from four primary schools filled Wiveliscombe Tennis Club with competitive enthusiasm this week for three hours of fun and games.
One of four teams from Wiveliscombe primary took the top honours in the Year 3&4 Cluster Tournament, with Stawley second, Cotford St Luke third and Oake/Bradford/Nynehead fourth.
A total of 36 children took part in Tuesday afternoon's event, with eight pupils from Kingsmead Community School providing invaluable help with umpiring and scoring.
Stephen Pearce, who seemed to be everywhere on and off court organising the tournament, declared at the end "A good time was had by all."
