Stowmarket’s top players are getting their teeth back into the Winter League matches., with all the players match fit and hungry for success.
The first ever New Year Junior Camp was a resounding triumph thanks to the delightful group of players that signed up. Luckily the weather was mercifully mild, unlike the original attempt two years ago that had to be cancelled due to sub-zero temperatures for 3 months solid.
On Saturday February 2nd Stowmarket Tennis Club is planning an “Ask the family” style Quiz Night. This year the idea is to test the younger, quicker minds within the club, and it should make an interesting diversion from all the exams the younger players have to take on a weekly basis.
Any local tennis enthusiasts thinking about taking up the game, whether as a seasoned competitor or novice, there will always be a route into the club with club nights, club mornings, fun sessions, squad sessions or even private play.
