Framlingham College Tennis Club recently held its annual Awards Evening with new Deputy Head Mistress at the College, Susan Webber kindly presenting the prizes. During the evening Head Coach Trevor Wright gave a detailed report on what had been achieved during 2011.
The core of the report being based around the 45 teams that had competed for either Club or School in Suffolk County-wide Inter Club or Suffolk Schools' Team events. In winning 9 of them and finishing runners up in a further 12, represented another very successful year for Framlingham College Tennis.
Awards were given to both "Player of the Year" and "Most Improved Player" in 4 different age group categories; award winners were as follows:
U18 Player of the Year Angela Koo, U18 Most Improved Ander Ibinarriaga
U14 Player of the Year Taylor Ball, U14 Most Improved Charlie Kilham
U10 Player of the Year Theo Underwood, Most Improved Martha Lawrence
U8 Player of the Year Lucas Walker, Most Improved Theo Salsby
