The winners of the 2012 British Tennis Awards were presented with their trophies at the Barclays ATP World Tour Finals on Monday recognising those volunteers who give so much of their time to the sport; from working behind the scenes as a committee member to organising local leagues and building relationships to positively promote the sport.
The winners were invited to The O2 arena to receive their awards which were presented by LTA President Peter Bretherton in the Hospitality Suite, they then went on to watch some world class tennis.
A VERY BIG CONGRATULATIONS to Avon Coach Lewis Fishlock and Avon Volunteer Jan Fishlock based at Rodway Hill Tennis Club who received the following awards:
LTA Coach of the Year: Lewis Fishlock
LTA South West Volunteer of the Year: Jan Fishlock
Lewis said "I am absolutely thrilled to receive such a prestigious award which would not have been possible without the help and support of my coaching team and the Avon LTA".
This is a fantastic achievement and very well deserved.
