Welcome to the summer issue of 'what's on' across Avon, Glos & Wilts LTA.

The schools doubles event was played on Sunday April 22nd at Clifton College playing fields.

The forth year of Writhlington Tennis Club closed  championships culminated into a day of finals on Saturday 1st June at Writhlington Tennis Centre, with eight finals being decided, the tournament had been played over a series of weeks with many close matches being played late into the evenings.

Congratulations to the Avon, Gloucestershire and Wiltshire 10U teams who competed in the Aegon 10U County Cup  stage 1 event on the 1st and 2nd June.

Working in partnership with Avon LTA, staff from Sir Bernard Lovell Tennis Centre and local coaches organised and delivered an open day on Saturday 7th June.

The sunny weather made the weekend great.

Three tennis-mad coaches from Bristol will be rolling back the years to mark the 127th Wimbledon Championships with a non-stop 127-mile bike ride from the city to the capital this summer.

Clevedon Lawn Tennis Club will be holding it's annual Community Games Open Day at the Club which is situated opposite the Princes Hall Community Centre in Princes Road, on Sunday 30th June from 10.30am until 3pm. 

The  Lansdown Junior Club Closed Championships, sponsored by Brasserie Blanc, got off to a fantastic start on Sunday 23rd June.
