The sunny weather made the weekend great. We battled with Devon and Somerset on Saturday winning all our matches except one. We won the box! The next day Ollie changed our positions and I had to play a Green 1 star. I won in the 3 set tie-break! Ben Rogers has a hard match and so did Julian Archer so it was down to James Vincent and I to win the doubles to stay in the cup. We did it and we were in the final.
We knew nothing about Cornwall who were the other finalists. Dressed in black they looked up for it. Julian had another hard match against their number one and he tried really hard but was beaten. James Vincent played great tennis. He and I were undefeated all weekend and we were so excited to win the tournament. Thanks to Ollie for keeping us calm. Well done all the players. We stuck together. Can't wait for the Bolton finals!
