The Lawn Tennis Association is the National Governing Body for Tennis. The LTA’s overall vision is to continue to grow and sustain the sport.
Be part of a network of support for players, coaches and places to play across the country – helping us in our aim to identify and develop talented young players and coaches, promote competition and develop affordable and sustainable community tennis opportunities for all ages and abilities.
We are looking for an individual with a strong tennis operations background and a good understanding of our ways of working. You will have the knowledge and commitment to enable tennis development, working closely with coaches, places to play, schools, colleges and universities, and Local Authorities across the Avon, Wiltshire & Gloucestershire area.
There will be a strong emphasis on working in Priority areas with key people operating in tennis club, local authority and education venues to increase Tennis Participation. You will ensure that there is a quality competitive environment locally, places to play are supported and you are working with the Tennis Foundation to develop tennis in the education sector and in public tennis venues to increase participation.
The successful candidate will have responsibility for supporting key people in their venues locally across the Bristol & Swindon area and will be based in the County Office in Bristol.
Salary: circa £26,000 per annum pro rata (salary level is dependent on experience) plus excellent benefits*
