Berkshire no1 Marcus Willis followed up on the Euphoria of reaching tomorrows Singles final by lifting his record 6th pro futures doubles title today with Kent no1 and former junior Wimbledon finalist Lewis Burton at the F3 futures in Kuwait.
The all GB doubles Duo convincingly defeated the no2 seeds Weissborn & Statzberger from Austria 6-2 6-2 in this afternoons final.
Marcus's manager Gary Lewis said “I thought the Doubles winners picture with Marcus showing his sponsored sleeve and "copycat” pose by the other 3 finalists was hilarious.”
The lad from Berkshire is certainly justifying A1 Pharmaceuticals sponsorship and Gary said who knows a future career in TV or comedy might be on the horizon but hopefully that's a long way in the future.
