Berkshire no1 Marcus Willis has defeated Tristan-Samuel Weissborn 6-3 6-3 in this mornings singles SF at the F3 Pro Futures in Kuwait. To Contest his 9th Pro futures final ( 3 singles ) in only 6 weeks.

It was his 2nd victory over the Austrian from Vienna in as many weeks next the 22 year old from Berkshire will face Tak Khunn Wang a Frenchman... from Paris who incredibly has gone from no ranking in 2012 to his current personal best singles ranking of 333.

Manager Gary Lewis said Tak Khunn Wang will be a tough proposition in the singles final particularly as he defeated last weeks winner Ivo Klec of Slovakia today but Marcus will relish the challenge and it should be a great final between 2 talented players on the rise with an interesting contrast in styles.

Marcus will next contest the F3 futures doubles final this afternoon against this mornings singles opponent Tristan-Sam Weissborn and his austrian compatriot Statzberger. The all Austrian pair have 4 shared futures doubles titles compared with the GB partnership's 10.

If the GB Duo can lift the doubles title partner Lewis burton will match his 2012 personal best of 6 Futures doubles titles .

This afternoon's Doubles final will be Marcus's 8th and tomorrows singles final his 9th in only 6 weeks so he's looking forward to a short rest prior to the GB series of 3 Midland's futures commencing at Loughborough during the 2nd week of October.
