Record entries at Halton Christmas Tournament

Very exciting final at the red event of the Halton Christmas Tournament! Joshua Hoey from Aston Park beat Joshua Bright from Halton 12-10. The red event had 24 entries. The Orange Event took place on Tuesday with 86 entries, and managed to run a maximum draw of 32 boys and 16 girls - Max Basing from AELTC was the winner, beating Kade Neveling from Radlett in the final. In the girls draw Minelli Cooray from Batchwood beat Sophie Underwood from Welwyn. 10s, 12s and 14 events also took place.

Many congratulations to James Morgan, Sam Start and Sarah Tricks for running what turned out to be the busiest tournament ever run at Halton !
Some 188 players competed in 324 matches playing 3399 games of tennis over 4 days.
