Wheelchair Tennis Development Series comes to Kent

On 10 - 11 August the University of Kent, Canterbury played host to the Tennis Foundation's Wheelchair Tennis Development Series.

14 players from across the Country came together at Canterbury and took part in a round robin style tournament. Matches were played at the new Tennis Centre at the University and took place on both the Saturday and the Sunday. There were three draws and each player played everyone within their draw over the duration of the weekend. A doubles draw also took place which saw players from the different draws mixing and playing together.

This event was also supported with a Powered Wheelchair Football promotion and sponsors Cinque Ports Mobility were also present for any repairs that were needed on the chairs and also to promote their company.
