The Ipswich Sports Club are staging a new Winter Veterans' Tournament, to be held at the Sports Club after Christmas, from Tuesday 27th December to Friday 30th December inclusive. Following on the great success of both the Suffolk Closed and Open Tournaments there is sure to be good support for this new event, and competitors are urged to get their entries in on time.
In attempt to provide players with the opportunity to meet new opponents, the age categories have been changed to Men's 30+, 40+, 50+ and 60+Singles and Doubles, 70+ Doubles, and the Ladies' to 40+ and 50+ Singles and Doubles, 60+ Doubles, which hopefully will attract a few more entries.
