A young Suffolk U14 tennis team travelled to Easton to take part in a 3 counties tournament with Bedford and Norfolk. Although competing against older girls, with two of the Suffolk team under 12, our team of Emily Davies, Erica Belton, Nia Braidford and Philippa Clarke played their hearts out and did the county proud by bringing home the trophy.
Erica and Emily led the team well as Under 14s, but were well supported by the younger pair of Nia and Philippa, and it's very encouraging to record an encouraging success for Suffolk tennis, with our determined young girls showing great promise for the future.
