Clevedon tennis clubs 1st team won both the Avon and North Somerset Division one titles for the first time in Clevedon’s 130 year history. In Clevedons debut season in Division one of the Avon league they battled to beat the finest teams from Bristol and Bath to win the league convincingly.
The North Somerset title was lef till the last weekend of the season with a tough 10-0 away win at Trull of Taunton, Clevedon claimed the title with a to point margin over Woodlands of Weston-super-Mare.
The Team (pictured) consistently contained Mike Dale, James Bassett, Kat Rolfe and Josie Vickers. They all played exceptionally well all thoughout the Winter and only fell out a couple of times!
