Avon LTA are delighted to be hosting the Davis Cup Trophy on Thursday 18 August at the Coombe Dingle Sports Complex in Bristol. Tennis club members, coaches and the general public will be given an exclusive opportunity to see and be pictured with the Trophy as well as having a chance to pick up a racket and play a bit of tennis.
In addition to tennis related activities on offer during the day we will also be joined by a number other sports so that it is a “Festival of Sport”. These include:
- Cricket – Gloucestershire Cricket Club
- Football – Bristol City Football Club
- Golf – Shirehampton Golf Club
- Handball – England Handball
- Hockey & Netball – Future Stars Coaching
- Rugby – Bristol Rugby Club
The event will start at 10am and continue through the day until 5pm, a BBQ and other refreshments will be available.
The event is free for all to attend and will give people a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see and be pictured with the impressive Davis Cup Trophy up close and personal.
All ages are welcome to Coombe Dingle Sports Complex (BS9 2BJ) on Thursday 18 August to take up this unique opportunity to see the Davis Cup Trophy and enjoy a wide range of different sports – it promises to be a fantastic day.
