Over 250 spaces for mini tennis, junior & adults were all booked out before the event had even started & many more people were accommodated on the day. The Club ran six mini tennis sessions catering for 20+ enthusiastic players in each session.
The Club also ran junior & adult coaching, family time, serve speed machine & the ball machine. Hundreds of players aged 3-70 enjoyed all of the events & of course the free BBQ & catering the club put on. Local MP Liam Fox opened the court under sunny skies at 11am & then the courts filled up with all the activities & players.
The Club was also pleased to announce that it raised over £200 for the Elena Baltacha charity. A huge Open Day wouldn't be the success it was without lots of work from many members in the club. A big thank you to all of you who helped with the organising & planning before the event & those who helped out on the day. I would like in particular to thank Paul Jackson for all his help in organising the event.
