Bristol City Community Trust launches exciting new Tennis Education Scholarship

The Lawn Tennis Association, in partnership with Bristol City Community Trust are offering a tennis education scholarship at Ashton Gate from September 2015.  Students will have the opportunity to do a BTEC course, which is the equivalent to 3 A levels, as well as gain a range of LTA Coach qualifications during the 2 year course.  Students will be trained, mentored and be given opportunities to gain valuable work experience as coaches.  They will also be able to develop their own tennis as the course provides 4 hours of training and matches a week.

Julie Jones, LTA Regional Tennis Participation Manager said “We are delighted to be working in conjunction with Bristol City Community Trust to deliver this exciting new scheme for young people.  This course will open up many opportunities for the successful candidate with options including, apprentice schemes, full time tennis coaching or access to University or a scholarship from an American University”
