Isaac Rowles and Natasha Scott emerged worthy winners of the County Mini Red Tournament held at Hills Road Sports and Tennis Centre on Saturday 30th January.
There was a very good entry for the event and many of the matches went to 10-9 in the tiebreak, most notably the two girls semi finals where Chaaya and Sama Malik who had both won their boxes lost to Natasha Scott and Olivia Clegg respectively.
The boys event saw some excellent matches with Isaac Rowles, Finn Besong, Finley Wilkinson, Nik Ahyaee, Harry Forber, Kellan Hickinson, Zac Cox and James Murphy all getting to the quarter finals. Isaac Rowles then beat Nik Ahyaee in one semi final and Harry Forber beating James Murphy in the other. Isaac Rowles then defeated Harry Forber in the final. There were many players from the competition who look promising for the future. Well done to everyone who participated.
