Tennis Is Family Time across London this Summer

Tennis is a great way to keep fit and have fun with your family. This summer it couldn’t be easier to get involved in tennis, and park courts across London are the perfect place to enjoy some fun, informal tennis with the family.

KENT JUNIOR TEAM TENNIS – AUTUMN 2013

  • The league will run between September 2013 – February 2014
  • Event group age categories available 8&U, 9&U, 10&U, 12&U, 14&U, 16&U and 18&U 
  • Entry open to all registered clubs/places to play with players that have a British Tennis Membership number, an LTA rating and are of the correct age to represent the relevant team(s) 
  • Team of 2 players for 8U – 10U
  • A team shall consist of 2 players – 4 players for 12U – 18U (two players shall play one singles rubber each and the 3rd and or 4th player(s) maybe selected for one doubles rubber only)
  • 12U – 18U - Players must be rated 8.2 -10.2 on 1st Sept 2013 however if you move higher than 8.2 during the course of the season, you can still play in the league

Families given the chance to play tennis together this summer at Danson Park, Bexley

Families in Kent are being given the opportunity to play tennis this summer thanks to the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) and the Tennis Foundation.

The family time sessions were launched across the Capital, Middlesex, Surrey, Essex and Kent recently.

The next session is on Saturday 13th July, 1.30-3.30pm at Danson Park in Kent.

Powder Byrne Tournament 2013

The Powder Byrne Junior and Open Tennis Trophy 2013 competitions cater for all age groups from 8U to Open and also include Family and Mixed Doubles.

Hundreds get involved in free tennis across Bromley and Bexley

Over 500 people picked up a racket and played tennis across Bromley and Bexley as 14 clubs held free open days on Sunday 30th June.

The Aegon 9U County Cup team are playing this weekend, Saturday 20th July at Sutton Tennis Academy. They will be playing against Essex, Surrey & Sussex.
