KENT JUNIOR TEAM TENNIS – AUTUMN 2013
- The league will run between September 2013 – February 2014
- Event group age categories available 8&U, 9&U, 10&U, 12&U, 14&U, 16&U and 18&U
- Entry open to all registered clubs/places to play with players that have a British Tennis Membership number, an LTA rating and are of the correct age to represent the relevant team(s)
New for 2013:
- 9 & Under Boys and Girls will also be held at a central venue this year
- Rating Confirmation: We advise team captains to confirm their player’s ratings with the opposing team prior to a match (i.e. 3 days before)
- A team shall consist of 2 players – 4 players (two players shall play one singles rubber each and the 3rd and or 4th player(s) maybe selected for one doubles rubber only)
- Mini tennis players can play in 2 events
- Team of 2 players for 8U – 10U
- Teams of 2-4 players for 12U – 18U. Players must be rated 8.2 -10.2 on 1st Sept 2013 however if you move higher than 8.2 during the course of the season, you can still play in the league
- The fixed date is a Sunday however the match can be played on the Saturday before if both teams agree. If no agreement can be made, you must play on the fixed date specified
General information:
- The league will be area based (dependent on entries) - probable split will be North Kent, West Kent & East Kent.
- Leagues will have divisional finals - these could be area based or county wide depending on entries.
- 8&U*NB, 9&U*NB and 10&UNB
* - will be played at central venue(s)
NB – Depending on entries these events may become mixed.
