New - Tennis Futures Programme

Do you want to be part of an exciting programme working in tennis? Are you interested in supporting tennis activity at your club and possibly working at county tennis events? We’re looking for 20 of the best young Notts and Lincs volunteers aged 15 – 19 (10 from each county) and will offer a great programme of training opportunities.

Please note that there is a deadline of Monday 13th January 2014 for applications.

Lincolnshire Ladies played at the Tarka Tennis Centre, Barnstaple, Devon against Cornwall, Devon and Dorset in a battle of the South-West for the Winter County Cup, 22-24 Novermber 2013

Men's Winter County Cup 2013

Lincolnshire men travelled the short distance to Boston to contest group 4 at Men’s Winter County Cup 22nd - 24th November playing county teams from West of Scotland, Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire.

Your chance to win free family membership of Grantham Tennis Club

Grantham Tennis Club is giving away one free family membership to celebrate reaching a milestone in its numbers.

The club has reached 599 members and the 600th will go to a family who wins their competition, allowing all members of that family to play for free every day of the year on the outside courts.

All you need to do is answer the following question: How many bricks (to the nearest hundred) will be used to build the new indoor tennis courts and clubhouse currently being built and due for opening in March 2014.

Nottingham to host major new women’s tennis event

The Lawn Tennis Association is to host a new WTA event in June 2015 at the Nottingham Tennis Centre, it can be announced.

The event forms part of the LTA’s plans in partnership with the All England Club to provide world class grass court tennis in all three weeks between the French Open and The Championships, Wimbledon.

The $250,000 event will take place in the week after the French Open, and form a key part of the Nottingham Tennis Festival, under plans agreed with Nottingham City Council.
