LTA President Peter Bretherton paid a visit to Suffolk yesterday, and saw a range of activities that are going on within the county. In the morning he went to the Stowmarket Club, a typical rural Suffolk club which is thriving and continuing to attract membership. He then visited Christchurch Park, the site of our very successful community tennis centre, before meeting members of the Suffolk LTA for lunch. Mr. Bretherton then saw a Ladies' Doubles event in the Indoor Centre, before concluding his visit with a look at tennis activities going on at Rushmere School in Ipswich.
