On the night we anticipate a fairly short AGM followed by the Buffet (which was excellent in the last two years). After that the session entitled Grow Your Tennis Club which as I said before was very well received in Bedfordshire.
Emmanuel College is on St Andrews Street - immediately opposite the John Lewis building. Simply ask at the Porters Lodge for directions to the Old Library. The nearest public parking is in the Grand Arcade.
The existing Officers are willing to stand for re-election for a further year. In line with the Constitution any other nominations need to be submitted ahead of the meeting and can be sent to this email address. In view of the lateness of this email I'm happy to accept any nominations not later than Friday 1st March
Right - that's the formal bit said. The County continues to need new volunteers. If anyone is willing to join the Exec PLEASE talk to Richard, Keith or myself. We do have vacancies on most of the Committees. In addition to that we would be very open to the possibility of restructuring the sub committee set-up to address both the current situation and the skills of those who join us. In other words, if there are clear opportunities with new volunteers to expand the effectiveness of the volunteer activities within the County we would definitely look at that. So don't hesitate if you are interested or know of some one who is - you'll be made very welcome!!
