We have 11 Summer & 4 Winter Teams. Any interested players, please contact Tisha or any of below Captains for info. 2014/2015 has been another successful season. Our 40s Ladies (Caroline Thornton) won and 50s Ladies (Sue Mitchell) 2nd at the Winter Midlands Counties Leagues. Our Summer Inter-County 35s Ladies 2nd in Div 3A and our 70s Men (Capt. Colin Tait) won Div 3. Congratulations to Alison Cooke (50s Ladies) and David Mills (45s Captain) who were selected to play for England in the Four Nations Championships. David won 4 out 5 matches ensuring England’s win. Congratulations to Pieter van Houten (45 Men) who was selected to play for Netherlands in World Championship Team Event, Turkey, winning Bronze in the singles & Gold in the doubles. Pieter also won 45s singles and David Mills won the 45 doubles at the British Open Clay Court championships, Bournemouth, then Pieter won 45s singles and the 45s doubles with David at the South England Championships, Eastbourne. Karen Kass won the 50s European Club finals, La Manga, playing for St Georges Hill, and sister Miranda came 3rd in the 40s. There were a lot more successes at high quality tournaments, too many to mention, by our other individual Senior players.
