The Davis Cup is coming to Cambridge on Monday 12 September 2016 at The Leys School Sports Complex, Trumpington Road, Cambridge CB2 7AD
A once in a lifetime opportunity is being offered to all tennis clubs in Cambridgeshire to come and view the Davis Cup at the Leys School in Cambridge on Monday 12 September and for your club members and teams to be photographed with the impressive trophy. There will also be some schools minitennis coaching and the opportunity to see some exhibition tennis and, given good weather, hit a few balls yourselves.
Some timings specifically for clubs and schools have been set aside during the day. Space is limited and will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
Session 1: 10.00-11.00
Session 2: 11.00-1200
Session 3: 14.00-15.00
Session 4: 15.00-16.00
If you would like to attend as a club we would ask you to email Vernon Dudley by Sunday 19 June in the first instance vernon.dudley@ntlworld.com specifying your preferred session time and approximate numbers together with a lead name and a contact mobile telephone number. Vernon will confirm your session time and send you an excel names form which we will require returned and completed by 01 September. As the Leys School is fully operational on this day we require everyone attending to be registered.
There will be general public sessions from 12.00-14.00 and 16.00-18.00 which will be more crowded and which need to be prebooked on Clubspark using the link below
