Kent Tennis Annual Awards Dinner

The Kent LTA Annual Awards Dinner 2013 was attended by over 100 guests at the Wilderness Golf Club, Seal, Sevenoaks on Thursday 28^th March.  The trophies were presented by Austin Smith, President of Kent LTA.

Since 2005 Kent Tennis has sought to recognise publicly some of the many people in the county who have contributed in some way to the tennis scene both within the county and beyond. 

This year’s winners were:

Player of the Year: Ian Payne

Junior Player of the Year: Nell Miller

Coach of the Year: Zane Cheeseman 

Club of the Year- One-Four Courts: Bethersden Tennis Club

School of the Year: Amherst School

Junior Leader of the Year: Sam Leighton 

Club of the Year - Five + Courts: Wye Lawn Tennis Club

Senior Team of the Year: Women’s 70 – Inter County Champs 

Junior Team of the Year:  Sevenoaks Year 7 & 8 Girls 

Volunteer of the Year: Caroline Ratcliffe

Lifetime Achievement Award: Tony Aylett 

Lifetime Achievement Award: Denis Costelloe

Lifetime Achievement Award : Colin Dancey 

Outstanding Contribution:  Austin Smith
