GB Sport Workshops and Social Media Course - Places still available!

GB Sport Workshops – we ran these in Bromley in February and were extremely positively received, so well worth attending!

 

Wednesday 22nd May 2013, at Polo Farm Sports Club, Littlebourne Road, Canterbury CT3 4AF         

 

Marketing Essentials: 10.30am – 2.30pm (4 coach Licence Credits available) - £40

 

What are the essential elements you must put in place to market your programme/club successfully and develop a unique 'brand'?

This 4-hour interactive course introduces the concept of successful marketing for sports coaches and clubs - defining and building a brand, developing and implementing an effective and practical marketing plan, how to monitor and evaluate the results, and great examples of good practice.

 

The course includes advice and guidance on the following: branding, planning, market research, first impressions, social media good practice.

 

Business Essentials: 6.30pm – 9.30pm (3 Coach Licence Credits available) - £30

 

This interactive course provides essential business and financial information for sports clubs; sports coaches and their clients to ensure government regulations and requirements are satisfied.

 

The course includes advice and guidance on the following: legal status, self-employment, employment, contracts and insurance.

Social Media:    10am–12noon or 7pm-9pm -      Free

 

Social media technologies are everywhere feeding into every part of our life. Like it or not they are ubiquitous - Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Flickr.

While it may seem daunting to get started with social media, understanding its power and using it the right way can have a really positive effect on you, your business and your community. The future is exciting– embrace social media now to release its full potential!

  business and encourage participation

• Understand how to develop a social media strategy - mainly around Facebook and Twitter

• Grasp how to set up profiles, get started and manage your social media activity going

• How you can easily produce content to engage and grow your tennis community
