Kent Primary Schools Competition 2013 kicked off with the girls Orange and Green events which were a big success.
On Wednesday 22nd May, 10 teams of 4 girls from a number of different schools arrived at Bromley High School for the Kent Primary Schools Orange Competition.
Throughout the morning there was many close matches and some fantastic tennis being played. The players all thoroughly enjoyed themselves, even though the weather was dreadful!
The final was between Bromley High 1 and Russell House 1 with Bromley High 1 winning 4 ½ points to 1 ½ points.
In the afternoon a further 6 teams arrived from a variety of schools to compete in the Green competition.
We saw even more high quality tennis, with players winning by a single point in some matches. All players were a credit to their schools both off and on the court
Bromley High 1 met Derwent Lodge in the final and emerged winners 5 ½ points to ½ .
A big thank you goes to all the teachers for supporting the event; we couldn’t have run the event without your help.
Look out for the 2014 entry forms which will be posted on the Kent website soon!!
