EVEN MORE SUCCESS FOR CAMBS COUNTY SENIOR PLAYERS' & TEAMS at The Winter Midlands 8 Counties leagues, played at Corby Indoor Tennis Centre.
Delighted to report that 2014/2015 must have been our 2 most successful years with all the recent individual and team successes, with congratulations again to our 2014 summer county teams.

with our 35s Men, winning Division 2B and back up to 1st Division, 35s Ladies, runners up in Division 3 and Ladies 40s stayed in Division 1.

Our 40s Ladies team (Captain - Caroline Thornton) won the Winter Midlands 8 Counties leagues again, played at Corby Indoor Tennis Centre with congratulations to her team of Fleur Clegg, Karen Cass, Becs Smith and Marketa Tajovska who managed an excellent 7-1 victory over Warks which meant we won the league by one set! See picture of the winning team. Caroline said, "Thanks also to Cath Heron, Christine Sprowell, Lesley Birch and Rachel Hill for helping us win 3 of our 4 previous matches."
Our 50s Ladies team (Captain - Sue Mitchell) came incredibly close as runners up also at The Winter Midlands 8 Counties leagues, played at Corby Indoor Tennis Centre with congratulations to her team. Sue said "We were pipped at the post by Lincs who we lost to in a champ tie break shoot out under the new rules. There were 8 very strong teams in the 50s so we did very well especially as I tried to give lots of people a game".
