Seven year old Alexander Boyd-Bench, from the Cambridge LTC, who has taken a shine to mini tennis has been travelling around the Region with some great success in the mini red tournaments.
During June he played in Northamptonshire and had some great results and was then invited to the Northants Grand Slam Finals where he came through some tough matches and won the finals.
Alexander beat William Richards 10/3; beat Ethan La Porta 10/5; beat Daniel Bryan 12/10 and the beat Samuel Moudiotis 10/5 to win the tournament.
Last weekend on the 17th July he then played at Easton College in Norfolk in the mini red County Tour event and again come out on top.
Alexander was also recently invited to the Regional Talent Identification Day at Gosling Sports Park where he performed well.
For seven year old Alexander the future looks bright!
