Competition Organiser Workshop is taking place on Thursday 15th August 2013 6pm-9pm at Hills Road Tennis Centre, Cambridge.
The course is 3 hours long and at the end of the session you will be prepared to confidently deliver your first competition and assist a club, coach or committee in planning competitions.
The course is FREE and will give coaches 2 license points. You should only attend if it is of benefit to you and will have an impact on the tennis your deliver, for example if you think you will be running internal competitions at your club.
The course will include;
- Guidance on how to plan and run your competition
- Competition format guidance and best practise depending on the number of players and their standard
- Tips to help you to plan your welcome presentation to players and parents and your prize giving presentation
When attending you will be given a toolkit to help you start running competitions.
