It was the first year for Ipswich Park Tournament making 60 entries a great start. Ipswich Park tournament is hosted at Christchurch Park on Henley Road Ipswich, Suffolk. It’s a great venue, using the newly refurbished park courts, funded by the LTA to help grow and provide free and low cost tennis for the community. Fantastic to see so many young players competing, with the mini red U8’s competition one of our busiest. The park was flooded with sunlight throughout the week and there was a high standard of tennis on show. There was also interest from the local newspapers that came down to see how things were going so that they could let everyone know of the winners and participants of the Ipswich Park Tournament.
