Men’s 26th February
Musters completed their fixtures, with a home win against Woodthorpe, and move to the top of division 1. In a good overall team performance, Rob Cree and Mike Smith were the top couple with 24 games. The most resistance came from Steve Small and Neil Collishaw with 19 games. West Bridgford continued their unbeaten run with an away win at Magdala, and move into second place. Matt Whitehead and Ben Rookes were the top couple with 21 games, with Jonny Higham and Andy Wood contributing 20 games.
West Bridgford ‘A’ had a comfortable away win at Wollaton, and move temporarily into second place in division 2, behind Woodthorpe ‘A’. Greg Rodger and Chris Taylor were the top couple with 27 games, backed up by Greg Hollin and Dan Sturt with 26 games.
Grantham ‘A’ maintained their unbeaten run in division 4B, with a home win against Mapperley Park ‘A’, and leapfrog them to the top of the division. Nick Birch and Mark Garrett were the top couple with 22 games.
Mansfield ‘A’ completed their season in division 5A with a comfortable away win at Bingham, making it six straight wins to take the title. Tim Smith and Liam Wright were the dominant couple with 31 games. David Lloyd West Bridgford ‘A’ move into second place following a close fought away win against Lady Bay ‘B’.
Lady Bay ‘A’ move into third place in division 5B, following a comfortable away win against Woodthorpe ‘C’, where James Chester and Ben Towle were the top couple with 27 games. Sutton in Ashfield ‘A’ moved up to second place behind Retford, following an away win at Newark.
