32 Students from Central College Nottingham are getting ready to run the various activities that over 2000 primary school children will take part in during the Nottingham Tennis Festival.

The Nottingham Festival of Tennis starts on Monday 3rd June and includes 2 weeks of top international grass court tennis at the Nottingham Tennis Centre - with free entry for all!

12 of the world’s top 100 male tennis players will be taking part in this year’s Aegon Trophy in Nottingham (1-9 June), which marks the start of the British grass court season and build-up to The Championships, Wimbledon.

Bingham’s David Phillipson claimed his first NEC Wheelchair Tennis Tour men’s singles title since August 2010 on Sunday when he won the Open Internacional Ciudad de A Coruña in Spain to complete his tournament preparation before next week’s BNP Paribas World Team Cup in Antalya, Turkey, which takes place from the 20-26 May.

Bingham’s David Phillipson has returned to the British No. 2 men’s ranking this week after winning the men’s doubles and narrowly missing out on the men’s singles title at last week’s Israel Open Wheelchair Tennis Championships in Tel Aviv.
